We can combine styles to create something special for you.  We like to ask these questions to guide us to create the unique piece that you are looking for.  

1. Who is this for (yourself, family, friend)
2. What is his or her style:  casual, sparkly, understated
3. What is her style of jewelry: minimal, simple, or chunky, larger pieces.
4. What style of jewelry: ie. pendant on a chain, pendant on a bracelet, charms on a bracelet.
5. Does she like all silver, mixed metals (14k goldfill, bronze, fine & sterling silver), and/or semi-precious stones.
6. What are her favourite colours.
7. What is her birthstone or the birthstone of family or friends.
8. Necklaces:  Does she like long or short necklaces.  Longer necklaces can be from 24" to 38" long. Shorter necklaces can be in increments of 16", 18", 20", 22" long.
9. How tall is she.
10. What is her stature:  Petite, Average, Larger
11. Bracelets:  Is her wrist size very small, small, average or larger.
12. Actual bracelet sizing, circumference measured end to end: Extra small (6.5"), Small (6.75"), Medium (7.0"), Medium/Large (7.25"), Large (7.5), Extra-Large (7.75), 2x Extra-Large (8.0”).
13. Do you have an image or drawing that you can send us for the piece of jewelry. (email image to sandra@orangeavocado.ca or text to Sandra at 780-257-3191.  Please include your name and contact information.
14. Do you have a picture of the person that you are thinking of giving the piece to.
15. When do you require the piece.  
16. Please note that turn around time will be 7-14 days after the final details have been confirmed. Depending on how busy we area We can rush orders for an additional charge. 

Shipping will be an additional charge or you can  pickup from our Southside Edmonton location. A 50% deposit through e transfer is required before the piece is started. Thanks so much! 

Each piece of jewelry is handcrafted and made to order.  

All personalized jewelry and my other jewelry pieces can take approximately 5-7 days to be made, but if in stock can be completed within 1-3 days of ordering. Please indicate if this is a rush order and I will get your order done as quickly as possible. 

Your jewelry will be packaged in a beautiful cardboard matte black clamshell style jewelry box and/or a micro fibre jewelry pouch with the Orange Avocado Jewelry logo embossed on both with a zip loc baggie to reduce tarnishing.   In efforts to reduce our impact on the environment you do have the option of choosing your preference for the number of boxes and jewelry pouches (0 or more).  It is recommended that you receive your order in at least the pouch to protect it from the shipping process.

Although the Canada Post Strike has ended shipping times are not guarenteed due to the backlog of packages in the system.  In addition to Canada post we are using UPS & DHL (shipments to the US and Internationally) which provides a tracking number that will be emailed to you at the time of shipping.  Shipping times vary with each shipping rate that you choose. Please note the times for custom and personalized jewelry.  Thank you for your understanding.

UPS and Canada Post take approximately 2-8 business days for shipping to locations in western Canada depending on your selection and up to 2-5 business days to locations in Eastern Canada depending on your selection.   My production times for jewelry has not been affected.

Shipping to the U.S. are for the “lower 48 states" and with expedited shipping taking up to 2-4 business days and up to 8-10 days for standard shipping with Canada post and UPS. DHL is approximately 2 days. Please contact me for shipping to Alaska and Hawaii.  I use DHL, Canada post and UPS to the USA and internationally.

Edmonton customers can choose to pick up their order at no charge from my southside Edmonton location. The address will be provided when your order is complete.

Edmonton pickup - No charge, the south side location of pickup will be provided after your purchase as it is from my home studio in Edmonton.  It is one block south of the Derrick golf & winter club. 

Edmonton shipping - UPS  (1-5 business days, depending on your selection, with a tracking number)

Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan - UPS  (3-8 business days, depending on your selection, with a tracking number)

Manitoba, Ontario and all other Eastern Canada Provinces - UPS (2-8 business days depending on your selection, with a tracking number)

Shipping – United States

You are responsible for any customs and duties fees incurred with your purchase.

DHL (2-4 business days, depending on your selection, with a tracking number)  You are responsible for all customs and duties fees with each order.  

Canada post (8-10 days approximately).

UPS (5-10 days approximately dependent on the service that you choose).

International 

International - DHL (from date of mailing, 5-8 business days with a tracking number, insured). You are responsible for all customs and duties fees with each order. 

EXCHANGES

Exchanges are accepted within 14 days of receipt.  I do not accept refunds.  Custom, personalized, Spark Forever Permanent jewelry and sale pieces cannot be exchanged or refunded. Custom, personalized and Spark Forever Permanent Jewelry is a FINAL SALE.

To be eligible for an exchange (excluding custom or personalized jewelry), your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and you must pay for shipping costs to me and back to you.

To complete your exchange please contact me at sandra.s.paetsch@gmail.com and we can arrange an exchange of a piece of jewelry of the same or more cost of the original piece of jewelry.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your exchange.

If you are approved, then your exchange will be processed. 

SHIPPING of EXCHANGED ITEMS

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.  Rates will vary with shipping times and distances.
