Shipping & Exchange Policies
Each piece of jewelry is handcrafted and made to order.
All personalized jewelry and my other jewelry pieces can take approximately 5-7 days to be made, but if in stock can be completed within 1-2 days of ordering. Please indicate if this is a rush order and I will get your order done as quickly as possible.
Your jewelry will be packaged in a beautiful black slide out jewelry box, a micro fibre jewelry pouch with the Orange Avocado Jewelry logo and a zip loc baggie to reduce tarnishing. In efforts to reduce our impact on the environment you do have the option of choosing your preference for the number of boxes and jewelry pouches (0 or more). It is recommended that you receive your order in at least the pouch to protect it from the shipping process.
If you choose the shipping option I use Canada Post Expedited shipping which provides a tracking number that will be emailed to you at the time of shipping. Please note I am currently only shipping out TWICE a week Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please note the times for custom and personalized jewelry. Thank you for your understanding.
**PLEASE NOTE** Under normal circumstances Canada post has taken approximately 1-3 business days for shipping to locations in western Canada and up to 4-5 business days to locations in Eastern Canada. However due to significantly increased mail volumes through Canada post and managing through Covid these arrival times are nolonger guaranteed. Please allow for additional days for shipping to account for this. Shipping times are beyond my control. My production times for jewelry has not been affected.
Shipping prices to the U.S. are for the “lower 48 states" and with expedited shipping taking up to 7-10 business days. Please contact me for shipping to Alaska and Hawaii. I use Canada Post for shipping to the USA and internationally.
Edmonton customers can choose to pick up their order at no charge from my southside Edmonton location. The address will be provided when you make your order is complete.

Edmonton pickup - No charge, the southside location of pickup will be provided after your purchase as it is from my home studio in Edmonton. It is one block south of the Derrick golf & winter club.
Edmonton shipping - $15.00 (expedited shipping 1-2 business days, with a tracking number)
Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan - $15.00 (expedited shipping 2-4 business days, with a tracking number)
Manitoba, Ontario and all other Eastern Canada Provinces - $25.00 (expedited shipping 3-5 business days, with a tracking number)

Shipping – United States
$26.00 (1-2 business days, DHL, with a tracking number) You are responsible for all customs and duties fees with each order.
International - $35-$65 (from date of mailing, 5-8 business days with a tracking number, insured). You are responsible for all customs and duties fees with each order.
Exchanges are accepted within 14 days of receipt. Sorry, but I do not accept refunds. Custom, personalized, Spark Forever Permanent jewelry and sale pieces cannot be exchanged or refunded..
To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and you must pay for shipping costs to me and back to you.
To complete your exchange please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can arrange an exchange of a piece of jewelry of the same or more cost of the original piece of jewelry.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your exchange.
If you are approved, then your exchange will be processed.
SHIPPING of EXCHANGED ITEMS
To return your product, you should email email@example.com to receive the address to return your product to.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. I use Canada post if shipped within Canada and DHL if shipped outside of Canada. Rates will vary with shipping times and distances.
