  Of beautiful things to come for my SS16 Collections. Just finished metalworking these freeform bronze beads and pendants. My work day begins with some pencil sketches and then bringing those sketches to life. My daughter Erin, looked at my plans and said "that's a lot of work".  Making individual beads, by hand, one by one, is a long process.  I actually scale out how much bronze each bead will take.  I like to vary the sizes which gives me more freedom in the end to create whatever I want. I pulled these bronze pieces out of my kiln at 2:00 am because I was excited to see how they would turn out.  Okay, I'm just a little obsessed.  Now time to execute my plans, which always change in the end.  That's the beauty of creating something by hand; one by one.  Things change and evolve just like my jewelry. • Spring Summer 2015: SOUL Collection

  "SOUL"  - A person's moral or emotional nature.  The essence of humanity; the quality of being alive.

  My SOUL Collection is composed of pendants inscribed with the inspiring and romantic Latin sayings that have stood the test of time.  

  "AMOR VINCET OMNIA" - Love Conquers All

  "VITA DULCEDO SPES" - Life, Sweetness, Hope

  "VI ET ANIMO" - With Heart & Soul

  Colors of the sky with my aquamarine semi-precious stones are sprinkled throughout this jewelry line.  It evokes a calm and healing quality in the pieces.  Contrasted with the warm gold tones of 24 kt gold swarovski crystals, bronze handcrafted pendants and links, these pieces will be everlasting.  The "Vita Dulcedo Spes" bronze eternity pendant is smooth to the touch, with irregular curves to entwine your fingers through.  

  

  Unexpectant uses of leather and gunmetal complement the bronze pendant

  "Amor Vincet Omnia" and handmade fine silver links.   

  

  Druzy Quartz stones in golden teal tones complement the entwined bronze links and pendants.  

  Each piece is metal worked and handmade with every line & curve made with intention and artisanal love.

• Staying Good; Staying True

  I just spent the last 10 days over the Christmas holidays regenerating my soul & taking a break from jewelry requests. My jewelry business has grown over the last couple of years to working full time most days.  Breaks are long overdue as each jewelry piece is handcrafted and metal worked; every line and curve made with intention and artisanal love.   Renewal and regeneration means to me biking, swimming & running with my family; then exploring the many eateries in Edmonton (my 2nd passion). My jewelry room gets a long overdue cleanup which helps me clear my mind for the next season's jewelry designs. I can't wait to show you what I have in store...some romance, some edginess. Let's just say that my kiln has been working over the holidays!  Here's a sneak peek...hope to reveal in the next couple of weeks.  Staying good; staying true. xo

  Metal Gold Ombre Collection

  Metal Gold Swarovski Crystals adorn my 2014 Ombre Collection. The look of pyrite and the shimmer of these Swarovski crystals is the new neutral for the holiday season. The deep gold tone of the crystals against the sparkle of the fine silver faceted beads offer a distinct contrast in design. My fine silver cross pendant & the double spike crystals finishes the look where "elegance meets edge".
